This is an early C19th Soda Glass decorated with a Primitive Engraving of a Galleon Ship.
The glass is Original. It is made from a poor quality Soda Glass, is full of bubbles and carries a Primitive Engraving of a Galleon Ship.
It was most probably engraved and used by a Common Sailor 200 years ago and dates to around the period of Nelson's victory at Trafalgar and as such is a rare piece of our social history.
The naive decoration only adds to it's charm.
In Excellent Condition.
It measures 3 1/4" (8.4cm) high.
