This is a HAND PAINTED WOODEN MOUNTED SHIPS CREST for HMS LEWISTON..
The Crest is Hand Painted on Plaster on a Wooden Plaque and is approx 50 years old.
HMS LEWISTON was the very last 'TON' built Minesweeper (not including WILTON), completed in 1960. She met her end as a target ship for the Sea Skua missile.
Measures 6"high BY 5" wide.
Condition is Very Good
